ANNUAL BUDGET PROCESS WORKSHOP
This one-day workshop is specifically designed for principals, current and new, to develop knowledge and skills on the process to plan, develop and collate an annual budget for 2024.
Principals are welcome to register key accounting support staff to attend with them.
COURSE CONTENT
✓ Prepare a timeline on the steps required to prepare the 2024 annual budget.
✓ How to review the current year (2023) to ascertain the funds being carried forward into 2024.
✓ Involving budget holders in the process.
✓Calculating the use of teacher entitlement and bulk grants paid staff salaries.
✓ Collating the budget, including asset purchases, depreciation, capital projects and final editing.
✓ Projecting the working capital to 31 December 2024.
✓ Finalising the budget and presenting to the Board.

Tuesday, 12th September 2023 – 9am to 2.30pm
VENUE: Friends Centre, Auckland Botanic Gardens, just off the motorway at Manurewa.
COST: $350 + GST per person
